ALTEN is seeking a Software Engineer in France to join a fast-paced Agile Scrum team delivering high-quality software solutions. You will analyze specifications, design and develop software, test and maintain it, and produce comprehensive documentation.

Requires a Master’s in CS and first development experience, with C++, Java, and Python proficiency. Familiarity with Azure, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, and agile practices is a plus. Hybrid work model offered in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• First experience as a software developer (internship or full-time).
• Proficiency in programming languages: C++, Java, Python.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM).
• English proficiency (written & spoken).

Responsabilités

• Analyze specifications and define user requirements for new or enhanced software solutions.
• Design technical solutions, conduct feasibility studies, and propose viable options for Product Management and users.
• Develop software according to industry standards and model/design implementations for databases.
• Test, validate, and maintain software; perform unit, package, and performance tests; debug and support existing solutions.
• Produce technical documentation for internal and external use.
