Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) for a remote contract role to design and implement robust APIs and services.

You will work remotely 10-40 hrs/week, leveraging AWS, FastAPI, Kubernetes, WebSockets, and real-time messaging to build scalable, resilient microservices.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Python for backend development.
• In-depth experience with AWS services and cloud-based deployment.
• Hands-on API development with FastAPI and real-time features using WebSockets.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices management.
