ALTEN is seeking a Software Engineer to join an Agile Scrum team in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and deliver high-quality software solutions. You will analyze specifications, design, implement and test software, and document technical work for internal and external use.

The role requires a Master’s degree in CS and experience with C++, Java, Python, plus strong English. A hybrid work model is offered with opportunities across international clients.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science.
First experience as a software developer (internship or full-time).
Proficiency in C++, Java, Python and English.

Responsabilités

Analyze specifications and define user requirements for software solutions.
Design and develop software in an Agile Scrum team.
Test, maintain and debug software, including performance tests.
Document technical work for internal and external use.
Model, design, and implement databases.

As a Software Engineer, you will work in an Agile Scrum team in a fast-paced, startup-like environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Your Role

As a Software Engineer, you will work in an Agile Scrum team in a fast-paced, startup-like environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze specifications
- Define user requirements for new or enhanced software solutions.
Design and develop software
- Design technical solutions and conduct feasibility studies.
- Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and users for validation.
- Develop software according to industry standards.
- Model, design, and implement databases.
Test and maintain the software
- Conduct unit, package, and performance tests to ensure high quality.
- Participate in the validation phase, fine-tuning the product as needed.
- Debug and support existing solutions in collaboration with Product Managers and Analysts.
Document your work
- Produce technical documentation for internal and external use.

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Computer Science
First experience as a software developer (internship or full-time)
Proficiency in one or more programming languages:
- C++ / Java / Python
Strong knowledge of:
- Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
- English proficiency (written & spoken)
