TechAbout is seeking a Backend Developer to design robust APIs and data models for our marketplace and booking products. You will contribute to payments, escrow and payout logic, ensuring correctness in BlogReach, while profiling and optimizing slow code paths to deliver reliable, scalable software.

The role emphasizes data integrity, strong server-side skills in Python or PHP, and a proactive approach to preventing bad data through validation.

Qualifications

• Strong server-side language skills in Python or PHP.
• Experience designing APIs consumed by others.
• Understanding of transactions, race conditions and idempotency.
• Care about failure paths as well as success cases.

We build and run our own internet properties — TECHi.com, BlogReach.com, Travel.pk, PKHosting.com, WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, HealthArena.com, aiTransform.com and Corner.pk — alongside client work. We are hiring a Backend Developer to build the parts users never see and always depend on.
