Job summary

Finastra, a global leader in open finance software, seeks a Back Office Business Consultant for Fusion Invest. You will analyze data, map data to target applications, configure system parameters, and deliver training to clients and internal teams.

The role involves travel to client sites and adherence to project standards across implementations. Reporting to the Director, Functional Implementation, you will support data validation, testing, issue resolution, and post-implementation tasks while

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant area, preferably for a financial institution or an industry software company.
• Client-facing service experience is required.
• Software implementation, support, or training experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with back-office modules of financial management software solutions, including solid accounting understanding is required.
• Experience with project management disciplines preferred.
• Experience with Finastra products a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients consultatively to determine project requirements and needs analysis.
• Configure system parameters and controls based on client processes; review setup with clients and gain acceptance.
• Conduct data analysis and mapping activities for assigned applications.
• Provide on-site or remote support during client conversions as applicable.
• Test and troubleshoot system configuration and functionality.
• Validate new system input, output, and connectivity; resolve issues with technical resources.
• Facilitate client validation sessions and report risks; develop mitigation plans.
• Communicate project scope, status, and risks to stakeholders.
• Record time spent on project activities accurately and timely.
• Follow project, departmental, and company procedures and quality standards.
• Provide SME support to internal staff and participate in training material development.
