Job summary

Addepto is a leading AI consulting and data engineering company that helps enterprises unlock data potential. We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and enhance Azure Data Factory pipelines, develop Python-based components, and support BI reporting.

You will work with a client-focused Product Owner and Architect, ensuring scalable, secure deployments across environments. You will contribute to CI/CD in Azure DevOps, maintain the data warehouse, and partake in ongoing platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipeline design and orchestration.
• Excellent knowledge of Python (Azure Functions, REST APIs, automation).
• Strong SQL and data modeling for ETL/ELT and warehouse workloads.
• Experience with CI/CD in Azure DevOps (pipelines, releases, multi-environment deployments).
• Solid understanding of Azure services and cloud-based data solutions (Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault).
• Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines, including orchestration and parameterization.
• Configure and manage linked services and datasets in ADF.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ADF pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes and evolve the data warehouse layer (Azure SQL DB or Synapse).
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Architect to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop Python-based components (Azure Functions, API integrations, automation scripts).
• Contribute to CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps, including pipelines and releases.
