Anotech seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to support a major offshore subsea development. You will conduct structural design, engineering calculations, and technical coordination for subsea structures in an international setting.

Responsibilities include FE analyses with ABAQUS, review of drawings, and collaboration with designers through detailed engineering phases to deliver optimized solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Offshore Engineering.
• Experience in offshore subsea structural engineering.
• Proficient in ABAQUS 2D shell and 3D modelling.
• Ability to perform structural calculations autonomously.
• Experience reviewing drawings and supporting drafting activities.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the execution of a major offshore subsea development project. Working within an international engineering environment, you will be responsible for structural design activities, engineering calculations, and technical coordination related to subsea structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and engineering calculations for subsea equipment and infrastructures.
• Develop and validate structural solutions for offshore subsea components such as FLETs, manifolds, suction piles, and large mudmats.
• Carry out finite element analyses using ABAQUS and perform hand calculations when required.
• Review technical drawings and ensure consistency with engineering requirements.
• Work closely with designers and drafters during detailed engineering phases.
• Provide technical recommendations and propose optimized engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Offshore Engineering.
• Proven experience in offshore subsea structural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of subsea structures such as FLETs, manifolds, suction piles, and mudmats.
• Mandatory experience using ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumetric modelling).
• Ability to perform structural calculations autonomously.
• Experience reviewing drawings and supporting drafting activities.
• Professional level of English (written and spoken).
• French language skills would be an advantage.

Candidates must be comfortable performing structural calculations autonomously and collaborating with international engineering teams in English.
