GTS Group Ltd is seeking an Embedded Flight Systems Engineer in Paris, France. This position focuses on the MAVLink communication stack and ArduPilot firmware across various platforms, requiring hands-on experience and technical depth.

The ideal candidate will bring 5-8 years of expertise in UAS, robotics, and embedded systems, as well as proficiency in C++ and Python. This role emphasizes live deployments and operational feedback, providing an opportunity to build impactful technologies.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in UAS, embedded systems, or robotics with a strong autopilot focus.
• Hands-on experience with ArduPlane and/or ArduCopter on real platforms, not just simulations.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python in embedded and companion contexts.

Responsabilités

• Own the MAVLink communication stack and the ArduPilot firmware across platforms.
• Develop and tune flight modes, failsafe logic, and autonomous behaviors.
• Integrate AI inference layers with the autopilot stack and validate in the field.

Hands-on ArduPlane and/or ArduCopter experience

HIL/SIL testing
