OPmobility SE, Sainte-Julie, France, invites Master’s students to contribute to the post-processing of finite element data and geometric optimization tools in the Design & Development department. You will build and refine analysis tools using Excel, VBA, Python, and APIs to streamline data preparation and visualization for large automotive parts projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Industrial Computing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced level of English (B2/C1).
• Good command of Windows, Excel, and web-based interfaces.
• Strong programming skills in VBA and Python; knowledge of VBS and APIs is a plus.
• Rigorous, persistent, curious with strong analytical and summarizing skills.
• Well-organized, team player, able to prepare written materials in English.

Responsabilités

• Analyze existing tools used within Injection & Tooling department.
• Develop and improve analysis and calculation tools (Excel, VBA, Python).
• Develop new post-processing tools for results visualization (graphs, stats).
• Improve spreadsheet interfaces and interactive data prep features.
• Enhance FE mesh generation scripts for geometric optimization of thermoplastic parts.
• Develop automation functions (Excel, VBA, VBS, Python, or APIs) to transfer data between CAD and simulation.
• Contribute to improving reliability of AI-based simulation predictions.
