Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government seeks an Automation Analyst – Software to support day-to-day automation and telemetry operations for the Forced Drainage Division. You will monitor, program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, SCADA, telemetry networks, and related software and hardware at pump stations and remote monitoring sites.

This role requires on-call availability for workload surges, system failures, and storm operations, with duties including updating documentation, coordinating

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in telemetry, automation, SCADA, PLC systems or a closely related technical field.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license is required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor telemetry systems daily for alarms, alerts, failures, water levels, and system performance.
• Program, configure, maintain, update, and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, telemetry networks, and related software.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and SOPs.
• Assist with design, testing, procurement, and implementation of telemetry and automation software.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and parish departments on automation projects.
• Cross-train with automation hardware staff and support urgent incidents and storm operations.
