Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France, seeks an Autoflight system Certification and Safety Engineer to join the AutoFlight Certification & Safety team. You will work on AutoFlight (ATA22) Certification, Safety and Airworthiness for Airbus programs and lead certification activities for the AutoFlight system.

You will coordinate with designers, test centers, and pilots to obtain means of compliance, interface with authorities, and contribute to safety analyses including FHA/SSA/CMA/MMEL.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in one of the following domains: system safety, system certification and qualification, flight controls or auto flight system development.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Autonomy and ability to motivate diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Certifying AutoFlight modifications, defining Certification Plans and negotiating with airworthiness authorities.
• Coordinate stakeholders for means of compliance (MOC) issuance.
• Lead interface with Airworthiness Authorities during ARMs and contribute to FHA/SSA CMA/MMEL analyses.
