Job summary

Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute (GCNI) invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellow(s), Research Associate(s) and Research Assistant(s) in Neuroscience to join a multidisciplinary team focused on auditory neuroscience under Prof Jan Schnupp. Strong candidates will have a PhD in related fields, proficiency in Python or MATLAB, and experience with signal processing and data analysis.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Science, Psychology or Linguistics (or related field)
• Proficiency in coding, especially Python or MATLAB
• Experience with signal processing or data science techniques
• Excellent written and verbal English, including academic writing
• Ability to work independently with initiative and problem-solving skills
• Experience with electrophysiology or functional imaging is a plus
• Applicants with less experience may be considered for Research Assistant role

Responsibilities

• Participate in experiments involving humans and animal models
• Provide design, execution and analysis support for studies
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to advance research objectives
• Mentor and supervise junior members when appropriate
