VSI Berlin GmbH in Paris seeks an Audio Operations Manager to organize resources for the production of audio programs and to lead a skilled team across various audio roles. This is a full-time on-site position based in Paris.

You will ensure compliance with internal standards, protect content confidentiality, and drive improvements in tools, processes and workflows while representing the audio department to clients and VSI group on technical matters.

• Supervise, lead and coordinate the audio operations teams to ensure quality and deadlines.
• Manage internal and external audio operators and senior operators.
• Plan and organize human resources according to production priorities.
• Ensure team skills development and sharing of best practices.
• Oversee the audio laboratory to meet VSI and client technical requirements.
• Monitor all audio projects throughout their production cycle.
• Contribute to project lifecycle from anticipating technical constraints to estimating production times.

Description du poste

The Audio Operations Manager is responsible for organizing the technical and human resources required for the production of audio programs. They supervise a team made up of audio operations technicians, audio operators, senior audio operators, audio engineers and any other roles involved in audio production.

This is a full-time position based in Paris.

• Comply with and ensure compliance with internal procedures, technical standards and quality processes.
• Guarantee the confidentiality and security of the content processed.
• Proactively propose improvements to tools, processes and working methods.
• Represent the audio department to clients and the VSI Group on technical matters.

Team Management

• Supervise, lead and coordinate the audio operations teams to ensure the quality of services and compliance with deadlines.
• Manage both internal and external audio operators and senior audio operators.
• Plan and organize human resources according to production priorities.
• Ensure team skills development and the sharing of best practices.
• Oversee the audio laboratory to ensure the full audio production chain is delivered in accordance with the quality standards defined by VSI and clients’ technical requirements.
• Monitor all audio projects throughout their production cycle.
• Contribute throughout the lifecycle of projects, from anticipating technical constraints to estimating the time required for the various production phases.

Studio Operations

• Ensure the proper functioning and continuous availability of the audio production facilities.
• Manage any specific configuration required for the successful completion of projects.
• Provide technical support to studio users.

Technical Management

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of audio equipment and studios.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure and production tools.
