Atelier Operations Manager - SOJO Paris

SOJO is the leading online tailoring and repairs platform partnering with global brands to make clothing alterations effortless and sustainable.
Following our successful UK operations and recent launch in France, we’re looking for an exceptional Atelier Operations Manager to oversee, grow, and refine our Paris operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong operational experience, commercial drive, and a passion for craftsmanship and customer experience. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping SOJO’s French expansion - leading a talented local team and driving both operational excellence and B2B growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of SOJO’s Paris studio, ensuring quality, speed, and smooth workflows.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of tailors and customer care staff.
- Maintain and optimise systems and processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Manage budgets, costs, and profitability of the Paris studio.
B2B Sales and Partnerships
- Drive sales of SOJO’s software and tailoring services to retail partners within Westfield Paris and other key locations.
- Lead onboarding and training for store teams, ensuring high engagement with the SOJO platform.
- Build and manage strong relationships with brand partners, acting as their main point of contact for operations, reporting, and performance.
- Collaborate with the global partnerships team to support international expansion across France.
Customer Experience and Quality Control
- Uphold SOJO’s high standards of customer service and craftsmanship.
- Pin customers for alterations and inspect garments when required.
- Oversee order fulfilment and ensure consistent quality across all garments and services.
- Track key operational metrics and report regularly to HQ.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years’ experience in operations or retail management, ideally within a start-up, scale-up, or fashion environment.
- Experience in tailoring, garment construction, or production is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial mindset, with experience in sales or partnership management.
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
- Highly organised, financially literate, and process-oriented.
- Confident creating systems from scratch and working autonomously.
- Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.
