Christian Dior in Paris invites a footwear design intern to join the studio from March 2027 (women's) or April (men's), for six months. You will discuss challenges, contribute to the creative design process, and produce renderings and technical illustrations for footwear.

You will develop skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, support mock-up development, and help with image, material, and shape research while collaborating with a talented design team in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Portfolio is mandatory for application.
• Internship agreement from current school is required.
• Passion for shoes and luxury fashion.
• Experience with footwear design is a plus.

Job responsibilities

• Assistant Women's footwear
• Assistant Men's footwear

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the creative design process
• Produce renderings and technical illustrations using Illustrator and Photoshop
• Support coordination between design and support with mock-up development
• Assist with image, material and shape research
• Analyze trends and keep up to date with the latest developments in fashion and footwear
• Participate in the daily organization of the studio to ensure its smooth running
• Support inventory tracking and material management

Please note that responsibilities may vary depending on the team's needs and ongoing projects.

Profile

• BA or MA Fashion Design/Footwear design degree (a valid internship agreement from your current school is mandatory)
• A genuine passion and interest for shoes, and luxury fashion
• Creative and playful spirit, with a strong flair for materials and colors
• Strong proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop, with the ability to simulate and render shoes digitally
• Ability to bring fresh ideas and a unique perspective to the design team
• Previous internship or experience in footwear, luxury, or fashion industry is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
