Western Enterprises, part of the Marmon family, seeks an Assembly Supervisor to lead line leads and assembly personnel in Westlake, OH. You will drive process improvements, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience, knowledge of production planning, and proficiency with MS Office. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with a strong leadership mindset and commitment to continuous

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Sciences, Engineering, or Business Administration; or relevant industry experience.
• 3-5 years manufacturing operations with supervisory experience.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• High integrity and strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of Medical/Industrial assembly and testing.
• Understanding of production planning and inventory concepts.
• Familiarity with robust safety programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise line leads and assembly personnel.
• Understand and apply production planning concepts.
• Drive process improvements using CI tools and shop-floor metrics.
• Identify and solve assembly process issues.
• Plan, assign, direct work, appraise performance, and discipline staff.
• Ensure safety procedures and ISO training documentation are followed.
• Coordinate manpower to meet changing conditions.
• Collaborate with planning, quality, purchasing, and design teams.
• Maintain positive working relationships and support a safe workplace.
