Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Hospital is seeking a Mammography Radiologic Technologist to perform mammographic exams and support patient-centered care in a Magnet-designated hospital in Massachusetts. Qualifications

• Required: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology and/or license.
• Required: At least 1 year as a radiologic technologist including training in mammography.
• Required: ARRT certified and registered radiographer and mammographer; MA DPH Radiography and Mammography License.
• LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsabilités

• Greets, escorts, assesses and orients patients while ensuring safety and quality checks.
• Completes patient history questionnaire and enters data into Meditech.
• Performs mammography exams and assists patients with privacy and comfort.
• Educates patients and families throughout the patient experience.
• Scans, sends and stores images in PACS; maintains data integrity.
• Prepares room for mammography-guided breast needle localization and assists radiologist.
• Responds to supply/equipment issues to ensure smooth operations.
