Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an Applied AI Director to advise senior leaders on AI transformation and to shape strategic initiatives across Europe. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive enterprise AI adoption and mentor consultants to scale AI capabilities.

The role focuses on leveraging generative AI and agentic systems, with exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, and a strong emphasis on governance and responsible AI. Hybrid work across Europe is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in senior AI roles across Banking/Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare or Life Sciences.
• Demonstrated executive stakeholder management with C-suite and board-level leaders.
• Hands-on expertise in generative AI, agentic systems and deployment in production.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders on AI transformation.
• Define and drive AI strategies for clients with practical knowledge of generative AI and agentic systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams from concept to production and adoption.
• Originate enterprise opportunities by shaping engagements and leading presales activities.

We're looking for an Applied AI Director to join our team in the UK or Europe in a hybrid working mode. This position offers a hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland and occasional office visits required.At EPAM, we help organizations turn advances in generative AI into measurable business outcomes.
