ixolabs.ai seeks an experienced Application Security Analyst to strengthen secure coding, vulnerability identification, and threat modeling across the software lifecycle. You’ll evaluate OWASP Top 10 risks, ensure accurate AI-guided secure coding recommendations, and help refine AI’s understanding of threat modeling for web and mobile apps.

The role is part-time (20–30 hours/week) with a start within 1 week and a 6‑month renewable timeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application security, secure development, or penetration testing of web/mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of secure coding principles and SDLC practices.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, C#) and web frameworks.
• Experience with API security, container security, and cloud-native security.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI outputs related to OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
• Assess accuracy of AI-generated secure coding recommendations across languages.
• Provide feedback on threat modeling methodologies (STRIDE, DREAD) and SDLC applications.
• Develop benchmark scenarios for SAST, DAST, and SCA analyses.
• Validate AI explanations of attacks (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection) and prevention measures.
• Refine AI interpretation of security findings from AppSec tools and prioritize remediation.
