Job summary

Bachem AG in France is seeking an experienced Analytical Project Manager QC (f/m/d) 100% to lead peptide and oligonucleotide NCE projects within Analytical Operations. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across sites, manage project timelines, and ensure rigorous data interpretation and communication to customers.

The role requires 5+ years in analytical development or QC with cGMP exposure, strong scientific leadership, and excellent English communication; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in analytical development or QC
• Strong scientific project management and matrix leadership skills
• Ability to interpret and present complex analytical data and provide practical solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of CMC development and regulatory expectations

Responsibilities

• Act as Analytical Project Manager for peptide and oligonucleotide NCE projects in Analytical Operations
• Lead analytical activities including release, stability testing, method development/validation, specification setting, and knowledge transfer
• Evaluate analytical results and communicate conclusions to customers and internal stakeholders
• Support troubleshooting within own and broader areas of responsibility
• Lead transfer of know‑how to other departments, sites, or external partners and vice versa
• Assess and consolidate resource needs and timelines for projects
• Interact with internal departments at all sites and with global customers
• Collaborate with Business Development to align with customer needs
