Bergerat Monnoyeur is seeking a workshop mechanic to service Cat equipment. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, assembly and reconditioning under supervision, while applying maintenance plans and procedures.

The role involves using manuals and ordering parts as needed, plus reporting hours and activities. You will contribute to quality, safety and environmental standards and work within a team focused on supporting client jobs without interruption.

Qualifications

• Vocational baccalaureate to Bac +2 in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering.
• Significant experience desirable.
• Ability to read and use technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of IT tools and information systems.

Responsabilités

• Carry out workshop work on equipment per technical documentation under supervision.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Understand and use manuals and other technical documentation.
• Identify and order parts needed for the work.
• Provide technical advice to workshop participants.

Job Description Summary JOB PURPOSE Based on the activities assigned by his/her hierarchy, the mechanic carries out workshop workon equipment.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

• Carry out workshop work on equipment (simple diagnostics, repairs, assembly, reconditioning, etc.), based on technical documentation, under the supervision of your line manager
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (overhauls, etc.) based on maintenance plans and operating procedures
• Understand and use technical documentation (manuals, etc.)
• Identify and order the parts needed for the work
• Provide technical advice to workshop participants
• Complete the various business documents and tools relating to operations (reports, hours worked, logbooks, etc.)
• Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.)

• Guarantees quality and deadlines, under the supervision of his or her superiors
• Ensures that the workstation and tools provided comply with standards
• Adheres to standard times
• Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.)
• Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.)
• Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S) Vocational baccalaureate to Bac +2 in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering and/or significant experience desirable

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S)

• Knowledge professional in the field technical (mechanical, electrical electrical engineering, hydraulics, etc.)
• Professional knowledge of products (ranges, functions, etc.)
