Job summary

FLYING WHALES is seeking an organized and dynamic AIRWORTHINESS LEADER to manage our certification team and coordinate the LCA60T certification project in Suresnes, France. You will lead a team of airworthiness engineers, drive the certification program from familiarization to EU/EASA approval, and liaise with certification authorities while ensuring a rigorous basis and timely demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Education: graduate of an engineering school or Master's degree (BAC+5).
• At least 10 years of experience in certification and first managerial experience.
• Familiar with aircraft type certification process and certification management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the LCA60T airworthiness certification program from familiarization to EASA type approval.
• Manage a team of airworthiness engineers and coordinate activities.
• Liaise with the EASA Project Certification Manager and Certification Authorities.
• Establish and maintain the certification basis and plan.
• Present certification strategies clearly to authorities and monitor demonstrations.
