Datadog AI Research in Paris, France, is seeking an AI Research Scientist to collaborate with research engineers and translate breakthroughs into Datadog products for cloud observability and security.

You will develop world models and trained agents, train on large-scale telemetry data, and design simulation environments with RL loops for evaluation, working closely with cross-functional teams to deploy capabilities.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing deep learning models and agents.
• Publications at top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).

Responsabilités

• Conduct research in generative AI and ML for observability and trained agents.
• Train multimodal models on large-scale telemetry data using distributed training infrastructure.
• Build simulated environments and RL loops for agent training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate capabilities into Datadog's products.
• Stay at the forefront of foundation models and RL-based research.
• Contribute to research publications and open-source model artifacts.
