ixolabs.ai is seeking a Public Policy Expert to help AI dissect complex governmental regulations, evaluate policy effectiveness, and anticipate societal impacts to ensure AI contributes to informed decision‑making. You will review AI analyses of policy documents, assess stakeholders and objectives, provide expert feedback on policy outputs, and develop training data illustrating the policy‑making process.

Start date is immediate, with ongoing 3+ months and a flexible commitment of 10–20 hours

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in policy analysis, government affairs, legislative research, or public sector consulting.
• Strong understanding of policy analysis methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
• Familiarity with governmental structures, legislative processes, and regulatory environments at federal, state, or local levels.
• Experience with policy modeling or data analysis tools (R, Python, Stata) is a plus.
• Excellent critical thinking and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI-generated analyses of public policy documents, legislative proposals, and regulatory frameworks across various sectors.
• Assess AI's ability to identify key stakeholders, policy objectives, and potential unintended consequences of governmental actions.
• Provide expert feedback on AI outputs concerning policy impact assessments, cost–benefit analyses, and program evaluations.
• Develop training data that elucidates the policy‑making process, from agenda setting to implementation and evaluation.
• Identify and correct factual inaccuracies or logical flaws in AI's interpretation of policy debates and political dynamics.
• Refine AI's capacity to analyze the effectiveness of different policy instruments (e.g., subsidies, taxes, direct regulation).
