ODDO BHF Asset Management invites a final-year student for an internship in Paris to design and develop AI agents that address real-world business use cases. You will build robust RAG pipelines and agent-based architectures while collaborating with business teams to define requirements and present findings to stakeholders.

The role offers hands-on exposure to AI use cases in asset management, ownership over architecture decisions, and potential for a permanent position upon successful completion

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Master's degree in AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AI and ML concepts and their business applications.
• Experience with agent architectures and RAG systems is a plus.

Within the COO organization, you report to the Head of Data & Digital Transformation for Asset Management.

At ODDO BHF Asset Management, AI is a tangible, business-driven initiative that already impacts all areas of the firm: Portfolio Management, Sales & Marketing, Risk & Compliance as well as Operations. The team designs and deploys AI agents in production with direct business impact. The technical environment includes LLM-agnostic architectures, RAG systems, and the orchestration of autonomous agents.

In this role, your primary responsibilities include:

• Design and develop AI agents to address real-world business use cases.
• Build robust RAG pipelines and agent-based architectures.
• Work directly with business teams to understand and define requirements.
• Present work, findings, and proposed actions to internal business partners and management.
• Contribute to a shared enterprise-wide AI agent platform.
• Participate in architecture and technology stack decisions.

The internship is based in Paris, with interactions with international teams.

Education

• Master's degree (Engineering School, University, or Business School) with a specialization in AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Final-year internship candidates are strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Solid understanding of agent architectures and RAG systems.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Strong interest in applied AI and real-world implementations.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Curious, open-minded, and eager to learn.
• Self-driven, autonomous, and able to iterate quickly.
• Working proficiency in English; French or German is a plus.
