Job summary

Moontajska Productions is seeking a Junior AI Filmmaker & Video Editor to translate scripts and briefs into cinematic AI-generated videos. You will collaborate with our director and work remotely, using your editing skills to shape pacing, composition and sound.

Ideal candidates have a filmmaking degree, at least 2 years editing with DaVinci Resolve, a strong grasp of film language and English, and a curiosity for generative AI tools. Training will be provided for new tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in filmmaking, mass communication or similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional video editing with DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of film language, cinematography and storytelling.
• Excellent English, including filmmaking terminology.
• Curious, creative, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience with generative AI video tools is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the director to turn scripts and briefs into AI‑generated shots.
• Apply framing, lighting, continuity and visual storytelling principles.
• Generate and refine AI shots using tools like Higgsfield, Kling, Seedance, Midjourney.
• Engineer prompts using ChatGPT and iterations to achieve visuals.
• Edit and assemble videos in DaVinci Resolve with pacing, sound and color.

Junior AI Filmmaker & Video Editor

Full-Time | Remote

We are looking for a Video Editor with a strong foundation in filmmaking, hands‑on editing experience and a passion for cinema and emerging AI technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with our director to transform scripts, storyboards and creative briefs into cinematic AI-generated shots and finished videos.


• Apply filmmaking principles: framing, composition, lighting, camera movements, continuity and visual storytelling.


• Generate and refine AI shots using tools such as Higgsfield, Kling, Seedance, Midjourney


• Engineer prompts using ChatGPT, references and multiple iterations to achieve the desired visual results.


• Edit and assemble videos using DaVinci Resolve, including pacing, sound and basic colour correction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking, Mass Communication or a similar field.


• Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience with DaVinci Resolve.


• Strong understanding of film language, cinematography, narrative storytelling and cinematic aesthetics.


• Excellent English, including filmmaking terminology.


• Curious, creative, detail‑oriented and comfortable working independently.


• Experience with generative AI video tools is an advantage, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.

Working Conditions

• Position: Full-time, remote from India


• Working hours: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM IST (to match French work hours)
