Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an intern to contribute to AI-driven workflows for numerical simulation. You will design, develop, and validate agentic processes that orchestrate model preparation, execution, and results analysis in collaboration with an orchestrator.

Based in Châtillon or Toulouse, you will work with HyperMesh, Simcenter3D, OptiStruct, Python, and APIs to build intelligent assistants that capture best practices and boost engineering productivity while learning

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+5) in France with focus on mechanical/ aerospace/ industrial engineering, computer science, AI, or data science.
Strong interest in numerical simulation, automation, and artificial intelligence.
Knowledge of Python development.
Experience with simulation tools such as HyperMesh, HyperView, Simcenter3D, Simcenter Amesim, OptiStruct or equivalent.
Curiosity about AI agents, LLMs, generative AI, and workflow orchestration concepts.
Fluent in both French and English, enabling effective team collaboration.
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with mentors and team members.

Responsibilities

Design and develop agentic workflows for numerical simulation activities.
Create AI agents capable of planning, executing, supervising, and optimizing engineering tasks.
Integrate different simulation tools into automated processing chains.
Develop interfaces between AI agents, digital models, and computational solvers.
Formalize and capture expert knowledge to transform it into reusable intelligent assistants.
Evaluate the productivity, robustness, and quality gains delivered by autonomous workflows.
Create innovative demonstrators illustrating the application of generative AI and multi-agent systems to digital engineering.
