Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) to work remotely. You will analyze realistic SOC scenarios, assess alerts and investigations, and help train AI models to reason through threat scenarios like seasoned analysts.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of SOC/IR experience, hands-on SIEM familiarity, and the ability to articulate security reasoning in writing. This is a remote hourly contract offering flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SOC, incident response or security operations.
• Hands-on familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage and investigation workflows.
• Ability to distinguish true threats from noise and articulate security reasoning in writing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigations.
• Classify severity levels, identify root causes, and recommend responses.
• Review detection logic and investigation workflows for accuracy.
• Evaluate AI-generated security outputs and flag gaps from best practices.
