Job summary

CMA CGM invites applications for an Internship - Developer Intern - AI-Augmented Applications (M/F) at its Marseille head office. You will join Shipping - Information Technology and take over an existing AI-augmented application used by business teams, developing end-to-end from spec to production with language-model components.

The role requires Bac+5 engineering or Master CS, strong TS/JS or Python, REST APIs, Git, and an interest in generative AI.

Qualifications

• Bac+5 in engineering or Master’s in CS/software development.
• Strong TS/JS and/or Python skills for API and web UI work.
• Experience building REST APIs and web interfaces (React a plus).
• Git and collaborative workflows with PR reviews.
• Interest in generative AI; agentic approaches a plus.
• Assets: FastAPI, Node.js, Bun, automated tests, Python data processing.
• Familiarity with RGAA/WCAG and GDPR topics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop features from spec to production, improve performance and security.
• Evolve AI components: LMs, RAG, conversational assistants with cost control.
• Gather user needs and present technical options to non-technical stakeholders.
