Job summary

Descartes Underwriting Group is seeking an Analytics & Process Engineer end-of-study intern to join the Chief of Staff team. You will work at the intersection of technology and business, building data monitoring systems and optimizing workflows to support rapid growth.

You will own projects end-to-end, from scoping business needs to hands-on implementation, collaborating across Data Partners, Reinsurance, Underwriting, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Current master’s degree from an Engineering school or University.
• Prior experience or projects in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering or Data science.

Responsibilities

• Build data monitoring systems and optimize operational processes.
• Turn data into actionable suggestions and own projects end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Data Partners, Reinsurance, Underwriting, and Operations to scale the business.
• Present results and drive better decision-making with data insights.
