Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Car Preparation Agent to ensure vehicles are clean, fueled/recharged, and ready for customers. Join our Network & Stations team within Operations and help keep our fleet in top condition.

Ideal candidates have a keen eye for detail, able to work safely in a fast-paced environment, and willing to perform basic maintenance tasks and vehicle checks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar operational, manual labor, or vehicle preparation role is a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluids and tire pressure.

Responsabilités

• Clean, refuel/recharge, and prepare vehicles for rental, ensuring they are in pristine condition.
• Check fluid levels and tire pressures for all vehicles.
• Complete and attach out-of-service tags and move vehicles to the maintenance area when necessary.
• Identify vehicles flagged for grounding, turnback, or preventative maintenance and ensure they are relocated to the appropriate lot.
• Assist with additional tasks as requested by management, especially during quieter periods.

Join Our Team as a Car Preparation Agent – Keep Our Fleet Ready for the Road

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for cars? We’re seeking a Car Preparation Agent to ensure our vehicles are in top condition and ready for customers. As part of our Network & Stations team within the broader Operations function, you’ll play a vital role in preparing and servicing vehicles prior to rental, making sure they are clean, refueled or recharged, and ready for customer use.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, refuel/recharge, and prepare vehicles for rental, ensuring they are in pristine condition.
• Check fluid levels and tire pressures for all vehicles.

At the end of the 19th century, the car was a luxury reserved for the elite, but interested everyone, attracting crowds: in 1898, the first car show was held in Paris. Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: “If you can’t afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?”. His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar. Its headquarters, located 11 rue du Champ de Mars also included a rental agency. The company's success was rapid, as car rental responded to a real need. In 1951, l’Abonnement Automobile was the first company for car rental without a driver and its fleet counted 750 4 CV. Now, the Europcar Mobility Group has over 200,000 vehicles on average in its fleet and serves 5 million customers in more than 140 countries.
