What You’ll Do

The Africa Customer Supply Specialist reports to the Customer Supply Manager Africa. The Customer Supply Specialist covers a dedicated region and customers, performing all activities and tasks necessary to operate orders and deliveries worldwide.

What It Takes

Summary of the position: The Africa Customer Supply Specialist is responsible for organizing the follow-up and management of the logistics flow for the Konnect Africa entities in the Democratic Republic of Congo & Ivory Coast, focusing on offices attached to the DRC Hub & Ivory Coast.

• Manage end-to-end logistics flows: inbound, warehousing, logistics preparation, shipments, outbound deliveries through specific tools
• Assist with administrative procedures related to the business (e.g., equipment approvals by regulator)
• Manage contractual relations with Supply Chain Partners and warehouses
• Monitor stock levels, inventories and reconciliations
• Follow up orders to be prepared and shipped from warehouses to customers
• Monitor and manage all returns for dedicated customers through specific tools
• Monitor performance: operations and local costs
• Drive improvement actions and seek alternatives to improve solutions for Sales Team requests
• Manage potential claims & delays for distribution partners

• The Africa Customer Supply Specialist has internal customers: Other teams of the Operations Direction; Supply Chain Teammates; Sales & Finance Team

• KPIs: lead time (time to prepare & time to deliver); inventory accuracy; cost metrics (storage, kit outbound, distribution channels)

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar environment
• Good knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics
• Good knowledge of African countries & markets
• University degree in management or business (Bac+5)
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Knowledge of customs legislation
• French / English written and spoken
• Good communication and ability to work with a remote management team
• Analytical and synthetic skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with local partners and administrative entities
• Ability to adapt to organizational changes and challenges
• Ability to travel across DRC & Ivory Coast as needed
