Job Description

The Country Training Manager role is part of the Business Excellence department reporting the Business Excellence Associate Director. The role is responsible for building the knowledge and capabilities of the Allergan Aesthetics organization at a cluster level through the successful development / delivery of brand, customer engagement, and coaching training for commercial roles.

Key Responsibilities will include the below:

Training Strategy & Delivery
  • Develop and execute a cluster-wide training strategy aligned to commercial objectives and business priorities.
  • Own training for facial brands, ensuring content and delivery support commercial goals across all relevant roles.
  • Successfully implement international training curricula, learner journeys, and programmes, adapting to local market needs as necessary.
  • Design and develop local curricula, programmes, and materials in partnership with vendors when no international solutions exist.
  • Deliver brand knowledge training in collaboration with Marketing and Medical teams.
  • Deliver sales force skill training programmes with subject matter experts.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Collaborate and consult with cluster-level stakeholders to build robust training plans, maximizing resources with the International Training & Capabilities team.
  • Regular field visits to identify strengths and gaps, providing actionable recommendations to leaders.
  • Engage with Medical Affairs and Regulatory to ensure timely and compliant approval of training and brand materials.
Evaluation & Measurement
  • Agree business-desired outcomes for training with stakeholders and plan robust methods of measurement.
  • Run ongoing knowledge and skills assessments to gauge and develop team capabilities; provide specific follow-up plans with leaders.
  • Make data-driven decisions and measure the impact of training initiatives on business outcomes.
Leadership, Culture & Change Management
  • Drive coaching culture among leaders and within the organization.
  • Act as a coach for customer-facing roles (Product Specialist, KAM), supporting performance growth.
  • Promote and embed Key Account Management practices.
  • Lead change management efforts to implement new training strategies and initiatives.
Project, Budget and Vendor Management
  • Manage training budget: optimization, investment decisions, and reporting.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and external partnerships for program development as needed.
  • Utilize strong project management skills for execution and tracking training milestones.
Qualifications

You have 5 – 10 years of experience working in the pharma / aesthetics industry, with at least 3 years of working in a training position. Other skills and competencies include:

  • Experience in commercial roles or training commercial roles such as Representative, Key Account Manager or Sales Manager
  • Significant experience in the Pharmaceutical industry including proven track record in healthcare sales, management and / or sales training
  • Solid IT literacy with experience of CRM and remote training platforms.
  • Understanding of latest training / learning methodologies, content development and delivery approaches.
  • Fluent in French and English required; Dutch is a strong advantage.
  • Awareness of local regulations and ability to adapt training materials appropriately for France and Benelux markets.
  • Strong cross‑cultural competence; able to work effectively across multiple countries and cultural environments.
