ATMOS Space Cargo is seeking a highly motivated Electronics BMS Engineer to lead battery systems development for payloads, from cells to flight-ready packs.

Responsibilities include documenting designs, supporting integration, and conducting extensive testing to ensure safety and compliance with aerospace standards. English and German proficiency required; collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• 3+ years in battery pack design and integration, ideally in aviation or automotive.
• Hands-on experience building battery packs from cells and hardware integration.
• Experience with BMS programming and PCB design for BMS boards and interface PCBs.
• Familiarity with aerospace or automotive standards and regulations for battery systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German.

Responsabilités

• Document designs, test procedures, and safety/certification compliance.
• Support integration of battery systems into spacecraft subsystems.
• Conduct electrical and environmental testing of battery systems (vibration, thermal, endurance).
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to qualify cells and components for aerospace use.
• Develop and integrate battery management systems (BMS) for safety, efficiency, reliability.
• Design, assemble, and test battery packs from cells provided by suppliers.
