Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft seeks a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to support aircraft build tasks in a dynamic manufacturing setting. You will learn two core disciplines within six months, using hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts, while remaining adaptable to evolving build requirements.

The role requires reading and applying engineering drawings, ensuring proper fit and function, and maintaining safe, organized workspaces.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of related experience in manufacturing or aircraft environments.
• Ability to read basic tools and select appropriate ones with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Install components for fit, clearance, alignment, and function per drawings.
• Follow engineering drawings and specifications to ensure quality.
• Assist in bonding, drilling and fixture setup as needed.
• Maintain organized workstation and document build instructions.
• Support multiple disciplines within assembly within 6 months.
