Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a Body Shop Technician TR in a learning role to master the beginning steps of exterior finishing, including masking, prepping for primer, and painting processes. You will be trained to apply body filler and sand materials to ensure smooth surfaces for primer and paint.

The position emphasizes learning, safety, and adherence to Cirrus processes, with benefits and ongoing development opportunities available.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED.
• Read drawings/blueprints and can calculate dimensions with accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic tools.
• Uses good judgement.

Mansioni

• Learn about Body Shop role and Cirrus processes.
• Develop early skills inspecting aircraft components, sub assemblies, and composite parts in preparation for body work process.
• Begin identifying and communicating defects and/or errors to supervisor when discovered.
• Listens and follows instructions, asking questions as needed.
• Manually applies body filler per procedures to establish a smooth surface contour and finish.
• Develops skills to utilize air tools and hand tools for high volume sanding.
• Strictly adheres to personal protective equipment requirements.
• Follows safety data sheets, technical data sheets and hazardous waste disposal procedures.
• Uses planning documents to ensure accurate completion of job duties.
