ABB in Chassieu is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead electronic components and PCBAs sourcing. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize costs while ensuring delivery performance and supply continuity.

English proficiency and a strong electronics procurement background are essential for success. The role focuses on strategic supplier development, market analysis, RFQ leadership, and strict adherence to ABB procurement processes within SAP

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial procurement, electronics environment.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components and PCBAs and their supply chain.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience managing strategic suppliers.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Manage the electronic procurement portfolio (active and passive components, PCBAs) ensuring cost, quality, delivery performance and continuity of supply.
• Identify, qualify, and develop a high-performing supplier base in collaboration with Quality, R&D, and Engineering teams.
• Negotiate contracts, framework agreements, commercial terms, and sourcing strategies to optimize site competitiveness.
• Analyze markets, lead RFQs and tender processes, and select solutions that fit company needs.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance through KPIs and drive action plans.
• Ensure compliance with ABB procurement procedures and maintain data and process integrity within SAP Ariba.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the electronic procurement portfolio (active and passive components, PCBAs), ensuring cost, quality, delivery performance, and continuity of supply.
• Identify, qualify, and develop a high-performing supplier base in collaboration with Quality, R&D, and Engineering teams.
• Negotiate contracts, framework agreements, commercial terms, and sourcing strategies to optimize site competitiveness.
• Analyze markets, lead RFQs and tender processes, and select the solutions best suited to the company's needs.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance through key performance indicators (quality, service, on-time delivery) and drive associated action plans.
• Ensure compliance with ABB Group procurement procedures and maintain data and process integrity within SAP Ariba.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree (or equivalent, Bac+5) in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial procurement within an electronics environment.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCBAs, their supply chain, and key manufacturers.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience managing strategic suppliers.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
