Job summary

Socomec Sas is seeking a senior sourcing leader to drive the sourcing strategy for panel builders and to expand an international partner network. You will oversee partner qualification, audits, and capacity assessments to ensure robust supplier bases across borders.

You will negotiate framework agreements and capacity commitments, manage supplier performance with KPIs, and lead risk management and continuity planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent engineering qualification, ideally with a specialization in industrial purchasing, electrical engineering or supply chain, or an experienced technical background.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial purchasing, ideally within the electrical equipment industry.
• Fluent French and English is essential to operate effectively within the international scope of the position.

Responsibilities

• Define the sourcing strategy by analyzing and segmenting the market, and identify panel builders based on their expertise, industrial capabilities, certifications and geographical coverage.
• Lead partner qualification through process audits and assessments of production capacity, scalability and financial strength.
• Negotiate framework agreements, commercial terms and capacity commitments to secure costs, quality, lead times and compliance, and contribute to developing cost models.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs covering quality, lead times, competitiveness, industrial capacity and project responsiveness, and lead business reviews and improvement plans.
• Anticipate supplier risks, manage business continuity plans and contribute to implementing an appropriate Supply Chain.
• Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including design teams, sales, engineering, industrialization, quality, supply chain, finance and legal.

As our Data Center business continues to grow rapidly, we are expanding our international network of panel builder partners. You will lead the sourcing, qualification, contracting and performance management of partners capable of integrating and deploying our solutions internationally.
