Jobtailor in Bordeaux is seeking a highly hands-on SAP accounting specialist to own acceptance testing and UAT for the migration. You will test General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Fixed Assets, review entries and interfaces, and liaise with Finance, AMOA, and the systems integrator.

You will lead defect analysis, document the new environment, and support teams during Go-Live while accelerating the testing process with minimal impact on Finance workload.

Qualifications

Hands-on profile able to lead activities and tests directly.
Expertise in accounting and daily SAP use.
8–10 years in similar roles or assignments.
Active participation in SAP migration or major ERP upgrade as Key User, process owner, or test lead.
Strong knowledge of closing processes and VAT.

Responsabilités

Take ownership of SAP accounting acceptance testing.
Lead and execute UAT scenarios for GL, AP, AR, Treasury and FA.
Review entries, interfaces and financial reports; identify defects.
Clarify processes and participate in functional decision-making.
Prepare closing simulations and future Go-Live activities.
Document the new environment and support teams adopting it.
Secure and accelerate the acceptance testing process while minimizing Finance impact.

Description du poste

Take ownership of SAP accounting acceptance testing
Act as the liaison between the Finance team, the business project management team (AMOA), and the systems integrator
Lead and execute acceptance testing / UAT scenarios
Test General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Fixed Assets accounting flows
Review accounting entries, interfaces, and financial reports
Identify, assess, and track defects
Clarify business processes and participate in functional decision-making
Prepare closing simulations and the future Go-Live
Document the new environment and support teams in adopting it
Secure and accelerate the acceptance testing process while minimizing demands on internal Finance teams

Requirements

Highly hands-on profile, able to lead activities and execute tests directly
Expertise in accounting and daily use of SAP
Ideally 8 to 10 years of experience in similar roles or assignments
Active and essential participation in an SAP migration or major ERP upgrade, as a Key User, business process owner, or test lead
Strong knowledge of General and Subledger Accounting
Strong knowledge of closing processes
Strong knowledge of accounting flows for procurement, sales, and treasury
Strong knowledge of standard taxation, particularly VAT
Strong knowledge of ERP acceptance testing / UAT phases
Strong knowledge of SAP FI-CO in a Key User capacity
Strong ability to analyze and functionally assess defects
Knowledge of the interactions between FI-CO and the MM and SD modules is an advantage
Experience in a retail, distribution, or store network environment is a plus
For a freelance contract: registration with the French Institute of Chartered Accountants is required
