Back Market in Paris, France, offers an Accountant Apprentice role within the Finance team. You will gain hands-on experience with accounts payable, monthly closings, and financial tools management in a fast-paced, international environment.

The apprenticeship starts in October 2026 for about 24 months (12 months negotiable). You must be enrolled in a French work-study program (contrat d'alternance). You will report to the Head of Accounting and contribute to tighter books and smarter processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, rigorous, highly organized with strong analytical mindset.
• Solid accounting knowledge and willingness to apply in practice.
• Fluent in English and at least B2 level in French.

Responsabilités

• Own accounts payable end-to-end, match invoices with POs.
• Keep open orders in check and resolve outstanding POs.
• Be a key contributor to monthly closings with accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Manage auxiliary supplier accounts and reconciliations.
• Champion the expense management tool and update transactions.
• Drive continuous process improvements in accounting operations.
