At Landauer part of the Fluke Health Solutions business and the Fortive group you will join a collaborative and international finance team committed to precision compliance and continuous improvement. This role you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting across three European entities: France, Sweden and the UK while gaining valuable exposure to double reporting (Local GAAP and US GAAP). Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly accounting activities for the French, Swedish and UK entities.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
- Perform monthly GL close activities: balance sheet and P&L reviews, intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile sub‑ledgers such as accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, payroll and other related accounts.
- Prepare and review VAT and other indirect tax declarations ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- Support corporate tax packs and statutory reporting under local GAAP and assist with US GAAP reporting for consolidation.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and support tax and compliance reviews.
- Participate in process improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives within the finance function.
Your Team :
You will report to the Finance Director EMEA and be part of a team of five professionals across Europe. The team is international, diverse and collaborative, fostering a culture of learning, accountability and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 35 years of experience in general ledger accounting ideally in an international or multi‑entity environment.
- Strong understanding of GL processes, VAT and tax compliance.
- Experience with fixed assets, inventory and intercompany accounting.
- Knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP reporting.
- Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
- Experience with Oracle or another ERP system preferred.
