ESRF - The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Grenoble is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer. This full-time permanent role involves enhancing the performance of power supplies, supporting maintenance activities, and leading projects for modernization and improvements of PSG systems. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in electrical engineering, with at least two years of relevant experience in power electronics. The position offers a dynamic work environment within an international team and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant professional experience in power electronics.
• Strong knowledge in AC/DC and DC/DC converters for accelerator environments.
• Experience in hands-on modelling of power converters.

Responsabilités

• Lead evaluation and modernization of ramped power supplies.
• Support Parkinson’s operations and perform maintenance on PSG systems.
• Contribute to COLD project development and deployment.
