Internship Overview

Houlihan Lokey offers 6-month internship opportunities throughout the year in our Paris office. Please note that we are currently hiring for January and March 2027 slots only, and all candidates must submit a formal application via Workday in order to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities

• This internship is an excellent opportunity to work alongside investment bankers in a stimulating environment on M&A advisory assignments for your assigned sector team (across either Business Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, or Technology sectors).
• As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job training.
• Throughout your internship you will get similar levels of exposure as a first-year analyst, assisting in the preparation of materials for clients and conducting market, industry, and company analyses.
• Furthermore, you will gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses, and supporting the due diligence processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• You must be completing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both English and French required (additional language skills are also advantageous).
• 6+ months of previous internship experience within M&A and/or related fields.
• Understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
• Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.
• Good proficiency with MS Office particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• You must be motivated and have the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment.
