UNIVITY in Toulouse is seeking a Senior 5G Software Architect to join our team in Toulouse, reporting to the CTO. You will design, develop, integrate, validate and deploy the satellite-based 5G NTN software stack, with a cloud-based digital twin guiding the roadmap.

You will contribute to end-to-end performance analyses, hardware/software alignment for onboard processors, access stations and user terminals, and collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement robust 5G solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Software, telecoms or related field.
• Strong background in terrestrial 5G; familiarity with 5G NTN.
• Experience with signal processing and FPGA implementation.
• Knowledge of WAN/SD-WAN/SDN concepts.
• Cloud technologies experience (VMs, Docker).
• DevOps processes knowledge (GitLab, config control, Agile).
• Strong C/C++ skills; Java, PhP, Python a plus.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Organised, structured, results-focused.
• Good English written/oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Manage the 5G stack software architecture for NTN in mmWave.
• Support optimization of NTN architecture and system trade-offs.
• Assist design of subsystems (onboard processor, access station, user terminal) aligning hw and SW.
• Contribute to end-to-end performance analyses.
• Support DevOps engineers in implementation, on processors or FPGA, with 5G expertise.
