Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Paris-based Investment Banking Off Cycle Internship for six months, starting January, within the France coverage team. You will work directly with senior bankers on live M&A and strategic advisory projects, supporting origination and marketing efforts.

Fluency in French and English is essential, and you will gain hands-on experience in financial modelling, valuation, and sector coverage across energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and FIG verticals.

What’s your role?

Investment Banking interns are placed into the France coverage team for 6 month internships.

Nomura’s France coverage team is an experienced team of bankers with strong capabilities in the execution of M&A mandates in France. The team is well recognised notably on the infrastructure, FIG and Healthcare sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on transactions in a variety of sectors including energy, since Nomura's recent GreenTech acquisition.

As an intern in the team, you will:

• Be part of a small and successful team with direct exposure to senior bankers
• Have key responsibilities in live transactions (M&A, strategic advisory)
• An Integral role in origination/marketing activities
• Gain experience in Sector coverage
• Data analysis for pitch book and discussion materials preparation
• Complete Financial Modelling and valuation
