Job summary

The Icebreaker Sampo is seeking waiters for the winter season 15.12.2026 – 31.3.2027. As a waiter, you will be a central part of the guest experience, meeting people from around the world and helping create the atmosphere that makes the voyage memorable.

We expect experience in busy restaurant work, fluent Finnish and English, and a service-oriented attitude. Ship experience is considered an advantage, with daytime work and opportunities for development and benefits on offer.

Introduction

Role

We are looking for waiters for the Icebreaker Sampo for the winter season 15.12.2026 – 31.3.2027. As a waiter, you are a central part of the customer experience. You will meet people from all over the world and you will be involved in creating the atmosphere that makes the trip special.

We expect from you

• Experience in busy and diverse restaurant work
• A genuine desire to serve and an understanding of the importance of sales
• Fluent Finnish and English
• Ability to deal with a variety of customers
• Experience in ship work is considered an advantage
