Role overview

As a Verification Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of electronic measurements and device characterization activities. You will be responsible for the calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement instruments. You will perform standardized testing to evaluate device performance and quality. Working closely with quantum engineers, you will provide critical measurement data, support troubleshooting efforts, and help maintain a high standard of laboratory operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a detail-oriented mindset and hands-on experience in electronics and measurement instrumentation.

Key responsibilities

• Measurement instrument verification, calibration and daily maintenance: You will be responsible for regular calibration and maintenance of instrumentation.
• Standardized measurements for device characterization and testing: You will follow pre-defined testing and verification procedures to collect data on device performance and quality.
• Collaboration: You will work closely with quantum engineers, supporting them with electronics characterization, testing and instrumentation troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Must have

• Detail-oriented mindset: You excel in tasks that require focus and attention to detail.
• Experience in electronics and measurement instrumentation: You have hands-on experience with electrical measurement tools and methods.
• Relevant education in electronics, instrumentation or metrology.

Good to have

• Programming knowledge: You can understand Python-based analysis scripts.
• Experience in industrial operations: You have previous experience working in an industrial environment.
• Experience with ESD protection.
