Job summary

WinNova seeks a Training Manager for the Construction and IT unit within the Technical Responsibility Area. The permanent role starts September 15, 2026, based at Suojantie 2, Rauma, with field teaching and staff also in Pori.

This role plans, implements, and evaluates training to meet qualitative and financial targets in the operational plan, in cooperation with the Education Director. A suitable higher education degree and supervisory experience are required; knowledge of the Finnish education

Qualifications

• Sufficient command of the Finnish education system, vocational education, and related legislation.
• Supervisory, interaction, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage network cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and improve the unit's training, service, and work activities.
• Ensure implementation of degree-oriented education in accordance with degree requirements and plans.
• Decide on student admissions and temporary suspensions of studies.
• Manage the unit's community student welfare and cooperate with the Education Director on budgets and efficiency.
• Supervise staff recruitment, employment matters, annual working time plans, competence development, and maintenance of work ability.
• Prepare the unit's budget and operate cost-effectively.
• Ensure safety and health of employees at work in compliance with occupational safety regulations.
