Job summary
Kalmar is seeking a Trainee for the Service Operations Development team in Tampere. You will develop digital and reporting tools to enhance maintenance delivery, analyze data, and support global collaboration across offices to improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications
- Educational background in Polytechnic, Information Management, Business Administration or comparable education.
- Interest in heavy machinery and willingness to deep dive into the industry and its processes.
- Improvement-focused with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
- Background in data analytics, engineering, operations, or change management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Qlik Sense, and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing business performance for On-Demand and Contract maintenance operations using data and AI to find improvements.
- Hands-on development of a technician-facing troubleshooting tool, including a configuration database and UI optimization.
- Interact with EU-based offices and global units to ensure tools meet business needs.
