Job summary

Corsearch- in Helsinki is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to advance our trademark search engine through NLP and CV approaches, with a focus on production-grade pipelines and multimodal models.

You will design transformer-based systems, collaborate with ML engineers, build robust APIs, and optimize models in production, including LLMs and VLMs for trademark analysis. This is a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover, with part-time options.

Qualifications

• End-to-end NLP and/or CV experience.
• Strong Python software engineering skills.
• Experience with PyTorch and the Hugging Face ecosystem.
• Knowledge of modern neural architectures: Transformers, RNNs, BLIP, LLMs, VLMs, CLIP.

Responsibilities

• Design transformer-based pipelines for data processing and enhancement.
• Collaborate with ML engineers on NLP and multimodal tasks.
• Build and maintain production-grade APIs.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize models in production.
• Fine-tune and develop pretrained LLMs and VLMs for trademark search.
• Research and experiment to improve architectures and performance.
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and experimentation frameworks.
